Another Highlight of Maine

We had a chance to revisit Cushing, Maine where Andrew Wyeth painted the Olson House. This house figured prominently in the famous 1948 painting "Christina's World."
Andrew Wyeth died this year at the age of 91. His son, Jamie Wyeth continues to live and paint on an island near Tenants Harbor, Maine. Here is a short interview with Jamie: http://www.necn.com/Boston/Arts-Entertainment/2009/06/02/Many-moods-of-Maine-The-art/1243994683.html

Climbing Bell Mt.

Nice summer hike with my teaching, biking, and clay-loving buddy, Blake--It took about an hour to reach the 4600 ft. summit.

Playboy Jazz Festival with Steph & Mike

Salif Keita from Mali rocked the Hollywood Bowl!

George Benson & Esperanza Spalding were pretty remarkable too!
